Oftentimes when we embark on the “change journey” we hear this annoying voice in our head telling us we aren’t good enough, we don’t qualify, there are better people out there than us, we can’t do it, other people do it better etc. This voice is consistent in its mission to destroy our dreams in the midst of dreaming it. What a tactic! How strategic is the enemy of our purpose in that he doesn’t wait until we have begun, he wants the seed to thrive be killed in the “womb” so it would never see the light of day.
When this happens what do you do? when you try to fight, the assault is louder and more damaging. It’s as if the volume button in your mind turns up and no break is given, because what our enemy wants is for us to not even have a second to hear that still small voice telling us “yes you can do this”.
I am writing this blog 10 minutes after a 3 hour battle with this voice telling me I am not educated enough, gifted enough, someone does it better blah blah blah! Yes, that’s all it was….rubbish. We verbally tell that voice to SHUT UP! You ignore it with all your might and keep on doing what you know is right.
Even when it gets loud, your “SHUT UP DEVIL” gets louder — let people think you are “crazy”, it is well because you are TAKING authority and not relenting. Chastise the devil with resisting him continually.
You got this! The Lord has called you to dream, live in purpose and accomplish great things on this earth. Do Not Quit!
